Connect App Store revenue
For subscriptions sold through Apple: a reporting key from App Store Connect.
- In App Store Connect, go to Users and Access, then Integrations, and generate an App Store Connect API key with the Sales or Finance role. Those roles can read reports and change nothing.
- Copy the Issuer ID and the Key ID, then download the .p8 file. Apple lets you download it once.
- Find your vendor number where App Store Connect shows your payments and proceeds.
- In CanopyDecks company settings, under App Store revenue, enter the three identifiers and paste the whole .p8 file, then choose Connect App Store.
Packets then show App Store revenue at the price customers pay, what Apple pays over, and Apple's commission between them. Because Apple pays about a month after the period ends, the figure your books record is what Apple pays over.
