Invite your accountant, bookkeeper or a QuickBooks admin

1. Go to Account from the profile menu, then People.
2. Choose their role: Preparer or Admin.
3. Enter their email address and create the invite link.
4. Send them the link yourself. It is shown once, works only for that email address, once, and expires after seven days.

Preparer or Admin

• A Preparer can build and refresh packets, upload files, review the account mapping, write board notes and finalize packets. They cannot connect or disconnect QuickBooks, change billing, add companies or manage people. Right for an accountant or bookkeeper.
• An Admin can do everything, including connecting QuickBooks, billing and managing people. Right for whoever administers your QuickBooks company, since Intuit only lets a QuickBooks admin approve the connection.

Change someone's role later from the same list. An organization always keeps at least one admin, so the last one cannot be changed to Preparer until someone else is made an admin.
